In the last month I made two purchases through Play.com and both were processed incorrectly. One item was double shipped (which could in all fairness be the vendor's fault) the other item was never shipped, the order was cancelled and I was not notified of the cancellation. When, after 2 weeks of waiting, I tried to contact Play.com to trace the order, I was unable to find any contact information of any kind for the company. Instead, I had to call the vendor directly and place the order again through them. Although Play.com is useful as a resource, I will no longer use them to process my orders as their service is neither accountable or reliable. In the future I will deal directly with the vendor and recommend this course of action to anyone thinking of purchasing through them.
