I have just found a delivery card from Yodel, screwed up in my letter box from two days ago with one parcel number crossed out and what I assume is my parcel number written barely readable above it and the same with the name,the annoying thing is I was in at 11.40am on the 9th when they claim to have tried to deliver my parcel. I'm sure if they had bothered to ring the door bell or even knock on the door I would have answered, saving them the trouble of having to try and redeliver my parcel. I have now received this parcel all in the rant above does not really seem worth writing except this is not the first time this has happened. I have had parcels delivered from Yodel before that have been left out in the rain on my doorstep which is clearly visible from the road for passers by to see, not exactly leaving it in a safe place are they?! I have had delivery drivers bang on the door, ring the door bell and then turn and walk away straight away because I havent answered the door the second they have done that and then when I have caught them walking back to their van they said they didnt think I was in, even though there were three cars on the drive and windows on the front of the house which were open. It's really not good enough that a delivery company are not delivering, it's not exactly difficult to do and other companies seem to managed more than well enough. It not only annoys the receiver of the parcel this "service" that they are providing does not exactly reflect well on the business that employ them and trrust them to deliver the goods to their customers. So i would like Yodel drivers to maybe ring the doorbell or knock on the door and then count to 10 before they decide that no-one is in and also if then there is no-one in push the delivery card all the way through the letter box so it is not found days later. Thank you! (Also with all the other reviews I have read it's good to know I'm not the only one)
