Went into Currys on 7th January to purchase an HP Laptop which I had seen on their website to be in stock. I live in Somerset, so drove specifically to the Cribbs Causeway store (40 miles away, but the closest one to me) to purchase the laptop. Upon arrival, I was not greeted by anyone, all staff slumped against desks chatting to each other. I asked for a Windows 8 demonstration, was given a pitiful 10 second long slur of the new features (still vastly unaware of what has changed). Decided to purchase the laptop but told was not in stock, no apology from the extremely rude staff for the fact I had come all this way for something that was not in stock.
Decided to order the laptop from the store and collect it there once it had arrived. It has now been 4 days and I haven't heard anything from them to let me know if it has arrived yet. I have called the Customer Service line three times now with the promise that they would call me back that day to let me know what was going on at the store. I haven't had a call from them and am extremely frustrated.
I have paid for a laptop that has not turned up yet. I would like to know what is happening and should the laptop not arrive by the end of this week I will ask for a full refund.
Awful service, staff and system. Staff do not care if you buy there or not and won't help you if you have been treated badly.
Avoid at all costs!!!!!
