My daughter had suggested booking through unibaggage in order to get a bag from dublin to brighton. the website was very straight forward and easy to book however when the labels came through there was no bar code only a delivery address. I was concerned about this and the huge time slot of 8am to 6pm for a potential collection. This is not feasible for anyone. it is also not possible to leave a bag somewhere outside a home with a note to the driver on the door.
On the day of pick up I contacted unibaggae to confirm re labels and was informed the courier would bring a bar coded label and who the courier was. I contacted the courier to be told they had no knowledge of the collection through unibaggage. It then took a further two hours to sort out what was going to happen and was only resolved by me going online to the couriers website and being fortunate to find a depot 10mins away. I left the bag at the depot and went to work two hours late!
This is not to say that the staff from unibaggage were not helpful. I found them to be both polite and courteous on the phone but I had in good faith ordered a service and expected it to be delivered on.
