I came across Global Web Pay when searching on-line. I had previously sent various sums across the world using either my own Bank, or PayPal. The charges always seemed high, and the exchange rates offered were usually towards the lower part of the range, and invariably the money travelled by tortoise, taking several days to arrive at its intended destination. I opened an account and was allocated a maximum of £1k to send to any recipient. I did so and was astonished by the speed and efficiency of GWP's service. Not only was the money the other side of the world within 24 hours, the charges were a fraction of what I usually paid, and the excharge rates on offer were at the other end of the spectrum (much higher). I have now used this service on three separate ocassions with a much higher transfer limit, and I would recommend them before any of their peer group. Thanks GWP.
Gavin Ucko set this firm up to provide children and their parents (and grandparents!) an opportunity to learn and share together. Bringing together the most imaginative toys puzzles and games, he is our first port o'call when looking for presents for our far off daughter's family in New Zealand. Our grandchildren there are made up of a 10 year old eldest son, his brother eight, and his twin sisters, soon to be 5. My wife found Happy Puzzle, and put together a bunch of stuff worth about £150, and although post was free in the UK, she asked that the presents be delivered to Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, in NZ. Gavin's team rang my wife back to explain that there would be additional costs, but that they would ensure that they would minimise these by breaking the consignment up into several smaller, less costly parcels for delivery. She was invited to speak to Gavin directly as he was in the office helping to compile the consignment, and he was very helpful and approachable. Some weeks later, I was sitting in a quiet place in Welcome Bay, Tauranga, on a visit to our daughter and her family. We had rented a small flat close by, and my eldest grandson wanted to assemble the Rollercoaster model, with my "help". Needless to say after several frustrating attempts to complete the structure, and get the ball to roll around the whole rollercoaster without falling off, I stood back at his invitation, and watched in amazement as he pointed out that the illustration on the box wouldn't work (check it out). He then made some quick and simple adjustments to two of the uprights, and "Eureka" it worked. He was just 9 at the time!
We would unhestitatingly recommend the Happle Puzzle Company for its range and quality of its products, with careful division into various age, skills and capabilities. Its "ActiBall" has provided hours of fun and entertainment, its model range opens up a world of possibilities, and its family based games has challenged us all, and brought us all together in a way that on-line games could never do.Ask your children; we are sure that they would say that "all the toys and games deliver what is on the box, and they have never been disappointed". This is important for us: as we are not there when they are opened, giving us confidence to re-order from this extraordinary company.
