We were initially very impressed with price and what seemed was going to be a good product. We ordered a roll top freestanding bath, toilet and basin. Certainly despatch was very quick but we were told that the delivery company would call to arrange a convenient time. The only call that came was from the driver who said was at our house with the goods. That meant that I had to drive back 20 mins and he went off to make other deliveries. I then had to wait at my house for him to return. OK, this is not the fault of Victorian Plumbing.
The driver waited whilst we inspected the goods and we found the basin to be faulty. I phoned VP immediately to arrange a replacement and was told another would be despatched as soon as faulty item was received back again. The driver wrote on his paperwork that we were returning basin and took the faulty item with him.
6 days later we had heard nothing so my wife phoned VP. She was told that there was a note on the system saying we were returning basin but it hadn't been received. The customer service person said she would check with the warehouse and came back to say that the warehouse said that all goods had been accepted.
After a couple more days the basin was discovered in the warehouse of the delivery company and VP said that they were waiting for a photo from the company to show the damage as they don't always return damaged goods.
We are still waiting on the replacement basin. Why has it not been despatched?????
I had phoned them on receipt and told them it was faulty on delivery. They have established that the item is sitting in the courier's warehouse, yet they are waiting on a photo before sending our new one!
Also as a side note I'd add that all the product seems of high quality except the toile seat which is the flimsiest, cheapest and nastiest one I've ever seen. They would be better off not sending it as it takes away from the quality of the rest of the product, which is very good I think.
