I ordered a 3D LG TV on 14 December 2012, the item was marked as 'in stock'. The delivery date marked as between 27 December 2012 and January 2 2013.
These dates came and went so I e mailed the company who replied that the item has been delivered already?
I mailed back saying that was a fraudulent statement, they replied that they never had it in stock in the first place.
I then asked for a full refund and they stopped replying. My order status after confirming 4 times that I would like a full refund is conveniently marked as 'awaiting reply from customer'. The telephone number does not answer calls.
Now I have had to fill out the necessary forms for Nationwide to investigate and under the terms of my credit card, I will be entitled to a refund. It's now 13 Jan 2013, nearly a month since I ordered it and I will have to wait for my bank to make them refund it.
Note: A news paper made them pay back a customer as well. The story goes that a customer had been refused a refund on an item which they had ordered but which could not be delivered, due to 'technical problems' .
Say no more, avoid them and go with the most reputable internet shopping site (you know the name), or stick with the High street. Epic fail, they should lose their licence to trade.
