Booked a hotel with agoda for the trip to China in October. Hotel confirmed received the reservation but not the payment, asked me to call agoda . Impossible as the charge will be prohibitive, forced to pay again. Try to claim back, agoda would not reponse to the email, forced to call up the bank for help. Faxed all the receipts to the bank, then agoda sent email claiming that is cost for no show, later claiming money paid as deposits and hotel had refunded all the payment. Ask for acknowledgement from my side, Cannot produce. Now is asking for the receipt again, i told to get it from my bank. The money involved is only around USD 100, but if i hv to call them in Ireland, my telephone bill will be more than that. Never use agoda, not after sales service. If yr got problem, you will get a computer generated reply.........
