Ordered a £1000 TV off Very (after having problems in the past, don't ask why!) Was told they would deliver on the 9th between 12 and 4pm. Hubby had day off work to wait. We have gates at the end of our drive of which the delivery driver couldn't be bothered to get out his van, knock the door and ask my hubby to open. Instead decided property was inaccessible and drove off. Called Very 5 times to chase the driver and ask to redeliver - all they did was fill in a form and email to courier - never any phone contact to chase. Told them it's inconvenient to have another day off work - we both work full time and don't want to use our holiday up waiting for them to mess up again. Asked to speak to managers - never any there. Spoke to two different Indian Call centres - of which one "Guaranteed" a before 9pm delivery. When called up AGAIN to double check this was told this was not possible! So lied to and they can't even send me this chaps details so I can make a formal complaint. In the end cancelled the order and went out the same night and purchased same TV from Currys for £100 cheaper.
Emailed Very a long email stating my dissatisfaction, only to be emailed a 5 line email back - not good enough.
Will be closing account down tomorrow - will never use again. You think it's quick and hassle free but be warned!!!!!!! If you're lucky enough to have £50 curtains which should of been signed for, dumped outside your front door with no signature for anybody to take, just tell them they never arrived. The courier they use (Yodel) are completely useless and this is a big downfall for them.
