Paid for pick up early on Friday, promised for Monday. 8 to 8 you wait in. Nothing. Not a text, email, nothing and certainly not a courier. Spoke to their Chat service. Exceptionally polite people, they must receive rants like mine all day. I wouldn't blame them if they were seriously into the gin whilst helplessly silently cackling at us morons who have to chat to them. This is the third time the same thing has happened with Hermes, and obviously the last time I'll be going down that road. First time's a shame, second annoying and third time just outstandingly appalling service. Wish I'd read the other reviews, and I would not have bothered at all this last time. And their only apology? Oh, here's another label, go take it to a drop off point. Gee, thanks! That's not next door, people, that's the whole reason I bought the darn pick-up service! Somebody somewhere, with a tad more responsibility than the poor people answering the Chat, is not doing his/her job. Slack, inefficient and totally out of touch with the needs of the consumer, the person(s) handling scheduling needs to take a long look at the incoherent wreck that they are choosing to call an outstanding service.
