Slabs and 2 bulk bags of MOT Type 1 all delivered on time, though I wasn't quite ready for them. So it was a little while before I was able to check the excellent-quality slabs, where I noticed that what I thought was a slightly oversized slab was actually part of a larger, broken one. A quick email to Simply Paving with a couple of photographs (I took some when delivery was made - recommend this action for everything) and a replacement was quickly sorted and delivered within a couple of days - many thanks and a gold star to Deborah Eaton!
Great information on the site for laying the slabs, too. And other internet companies I contacted, that offered a price-match, couldn't match the Simply Paving prices!
Initially, I made a mistake and thought I had booked (on a Saturday) to have 2 front tyres fitted on the following Monday. Turned out I had booked the fitting for the following Monday, but when I rang to enquire, arrangements were made to bring this forward to the Wednesday. I was then contacted on the Tuesday night to say that they could not confirm the tyres had been delivered to the garage, so best to hold off going to the fitting. I then received progress updates on the delivery and made a convenient appointment that was suitably efficient. What impressed me most was this is the standard of customer care I expect these days - me getting calls not making them - that is so often lacking everywhere else.
