Ordered once, was unsatisfied, and had to call 8 separate times in order for account to be closed

I ordered two dresses from Very as a first time customer. The sign up process was easy and shopping experience on the website ok. On the day the items were due to be delivered I received a message to say they were delayed. They did not offer to refund the delivery charge. When the items did arrive, they did not fit so I packaged them up and called Very to arrange a return. On the day of my chosen collection day, the driver did not turn up so I called to rearrange collection. Again, I waited in and the driver didn't arrive. This happened FIVE TIMES!!!! I asked to close my account as was infuriated but was told I could not until the balance was cleared i.e. their slow systems had updated. I called back a couple of weeks later to be told the items had been returned but I still owed delivery charges and interest! And arrears charge for late payment!! What a cheek. Their customer service team do not seem to care or understand - I am cancelling the account as soon as possible, am too busy to be on the phone all day to these amateurs. DO NOT SHOP with them!! Also their APR is nearly 40% this is daylight robbery and I would urge people not to open an account.
