When I ordered my item there was no indication that it wasn't in stock and therefore would take a week and a half to arrive with GAK. I was not told this by email or phone, I had to call them directly to chase my order status.
Having waiting a week and a half for my item to arrive with GAK I called once more to see if it had arrived, it hadn't. Again, I was not notified.
I called once more to chase the item and was told it had arrived with them but wasn't dispatched in time, again, I had to call them to find this out. In the same conversation I was told that it would be delivered the next day so arranged for someone to be at my address to receive the item. GAK emailed me a FedEx tracking number which FedEx had never heard of on the day of delivery so it turned out my item would be arriving the day after instead of the day GAK specified to me. Again, to find out I had to contact FedEx directly to track my order.
As a result of all of the above complete lack of communication, chasing I had to do, organising for someone to give up a day to receive the item when it wasn't even going to be delivered on that day and general poor service I very much doubt I'll be using GAK again. Shame.
