I used Babbel.com for a month (free of charge), and found it a good way of learning portuguese. Then Babbel without any further warning charged my credit card for the next month, no problem, I wanted too use the page. But suddenly I could not open the homepage, I tried from home, from work, using windows, using Ipad, tried using a public computer, using different browsers. No Luck.
Contacted Babbel, after nearly 3 weeks they tell me, that nothing is wrong from their end ????
1-11-2013: just as suddenly everything worked again - and before that Babbel offered a refund
