Crampton And Moore

Item arrived but poor customer service

After placing order I received no notification of despatch as was promised. As a result I sent 2 communications to Crampton and Moore. All that was required was a very short reassuring reply. An "It is on its way." Five words for five stars. But I received no reply until I was asked to rate the service! As it turned out the item arrived within the 3 to 5 working days promised complicated by the Easter bank holiday: quality product and great price but I cannot stand being ignored.

Shame download pricing lets them down...

If Juno's business was 100% physical product they would get a 9 out of 10! Descriptions are accurate, pricing competetive in the large majority of releases (I can't comment on hardware..) and process and delivery are second to none. I've placed orders for vinyl and CDs at 3pm and have always received them next day. Great service. Only critique, I wish stickers weren't put on everything sold.. As for lossless digital releases Juno just aren't competetive: huge selection but for a rather large surcharge. The only company more expensive in my experience is Beatport. One purchase in 5 years says it all. When you can buy the lovely shiny physical release with art for less than their digital price then that's just plain wrong. No friction. The digital pricing lets everyone down. Sort them out! So, two marks apply: physical: 9-10; digital: 2-10.
