I was initially a little dubious about buying glasses from this website as this was the first time I had ordered glasses online. I needn't have worried. They arrived within the time frame allocated and i'm SO happy with them. They price matched the glasses from a competitors website so I got them for even cheaper! My family have also started ordering with them too. Would certainly recommend and will be shopping with them again.
I did a lot of online shopping on the Zara website over christmas and subsequently had around 5 parcels to be delivered by DPD. I don't think a single parcel arrived on time.
One of my first orders was given an allocated time which came and went. Bearing in mind I had taken the afternoon off work to wait in as it was the first time i'd delivered something to this address. I luckily managed to find a direct telephone number of my local depot. Phoned them and apparently the driver was sick. Rescheduled for next day but informed them I would be at work. They said thats fine - just leave a note on the door. Left a note. Came home, the note was gone but there was no parcel. The parcel arrived the following afternoon, 48 hours and a lot of inconvenience later. Before I phoned the depot, I had actually emailed their customer service department. That was about 3 weeks ago and they still haven't responded.
The rest of the deliveries all followed a similar pattern. I am currently waiting on a delivery that was scheduled for Friday. They couldn't deliver due to adverse weather conditions.. Even though two other courier companies managed to deliver to me on Friday. It was rescheduled for this afternoon. Waited in and guess what.. It didn't turn up. No snow on our road or roads leading onto our road. No excuse given this time either, just that they were 'delayed'.
My nearest Zara is around an hours drive away. From now on I will be selecting the 'deliver to store' option as spending two hours driving a return trip is far less time consuming then spending 2-3 days wondering if and when your parcel will be delivered.
Items are delivered for free with no minimum spend. I always recieve my items on time and in good condition. I place a lot of orders and have only once been sent an incorrect item. Freepost returns are quick and easy. Love the saved items option and the fact that things that you add to your basket are automatically reserved for half an hour so the risk of something going out of stock whilst you are browsing is minimised. Highly recommended.
Items take AGES to arrive. Most of the time they are not in stock so arrive in seperate packages, weeks apart. I e-mailed customer service and got no response so I called them. The advisor told me a blatent lie regarding my delivery. And returning items seems to be just as slow a process as ordering. Won't be shopping online with h&m again. Just not worth the long wait.
