The product I bought was a pair of dura ace 9000 wheels. They were not to my satisfaction as they were not straight. I rang the telephone number and dutifully took the wheels back, in person. I was told the wheel was only 0.3mm out and asked what I am using the wheels for? Cycling! More importantly training. It was suggested that they were ok and eventually the wheel was replaced. The staff member was not helpful and spoke to me in a way which, in my opinion was derisory. Upon returning home the replaced wheel was also not straight and I tried to contact [Link]-this was not possible and therefore made representation to the manager who was once again at pains to explain the basics of wheels and the purpose of their use. My point is this, I am a discerning customer who purchased a quality product. The product and its replacement are not to a standard that I expect. What I was met with was high challenge and rudeness. The wheels are boxed ready for their return journey tomorrow. I expect a refund and will not buy from Merlin again. So well done for losing both my friends and myself as customers. I look forward to seeing you out on the road where I will be able to demonstrate fully the purpose of a wheel purchase!
