When I called Auto Europe for help in booking my rental car in Italy, the customer service rep was very helpful and friendly. He patiently answered questions and set up the rental. However, once we arrived at actual rental car place that Auto Europe set us up with called Europcar, the one employee working was getting in his car and said "one minute." He then drove away, leaving us standing outside in the cold with our luggage and did not return for at least twenty minutes. Finally he returned. He was impatient and in a hurry. I asked for an explanation of the gps device we were renting which he had simply thrust in our direction. There was no manual. He said it was already programmed but when I turned it on, it had not been programmed. We asked for a map. They had none. Another man walked in while he was helping us and he rushed us through our check-in so he could go chat with this man. He did not allow us time to look over the car to make sure there was no prexisting damage. Generally, the service was very bad and I will not be using Europcar again.
