TransferWise

Fast, efficient and cheap!

This service is incredibly efficient. I was a little put off by the addition of an extra process (i.e. transferring money to Transferwise first as opposed to transferring it directly from my UK account to my French account) - but despite this extra step along the way Transferwise are still faster, more transparent and considerably cheaper. I started the process on a Monday afternoon and the money was in my account in France on Wednesday afternoon. Not many high street banks will do that... and in the mean time, they have the use of your money!!! Seriously, more areas of our lives could do with people like Transferwise.
