I ordered a bed base on 4th January 2013 which stated 48hrs delivery. I tried to track on-line the next day and it still said awaiting shipping, I called the company who advised me it would be delivered on Wednesday 9th so I thought what an excellent efficient service BUT I was wrong!
On Tuesday 8th I thought I'd check progress of bed on-line and guess what it still said awaiting shipping, I called worldstores who basically said it was coming direct from the supplier and that they are backlogged but a courier company will call to arrange delivery. I was not amused at them passing the blame onto someone else when my order is with them, they stated 48hrs delivery it should be honoured.
I got a call a few days later from a haulage company asking if they could delivery the bed on Friday 18th, so I made arrangements for somone to be here as it was an all day call. Then yesterday (16th) I received a call from the haulage company again to say that the bed is still in England and could they delivery on Tuesday 22nd, I agreed as I a really needing the new bed base asap and I have had to ask my father to come and wait here for collection since it is such short notice, needless to say I am not happy.
UPDATE: After a few additional issues with delivery WorldStores deilvered my bed, I am really pleased with my purchase and the customer service department have promised to look into the issues surrounding delayed delivery.
