Placed an order with Simplyelectronics for a Nexus 7 tablet on the 14th Dec. 2012.On the 23rd of Dec. received an e-mail from them saying while preparing my order to be dispatched they have noticed the product was damaged and offered me the opportunity to chose something else from their site saying that even if slightly over what i have paid already will accept it as a gesture of good will.I have then chosen something which was £10 over what i already paid.After another few days they have send me another e-mail saying this time that the product chosen as a replacement is way over what they consider "Good Will" and to chose again something of the same value I've already paid or under.At this point was already the 3rd of January 2013 for something that was meant to be a Christmas present for my wife,so decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund.They confirmed my cancellation and said a refund was to be issued shortly. Checked on their site on FAQ AND IT SAYS IT CAN TAKE UP TO 10 DAYS TO RECEIVE THE MONEYS SO DECIDED NOT TO WORRY.11 days later nothing so asked them again why is taking so long.Got an e-mail back on the 16th of January saying the same old thing;YOUR REFUND IS PROCESSING AND IT CAN TAKE UP TO 10 DAYS TO RECEIVE! I'm already fed up with this so contacted my bank to chase the money back for me.The persons that contacted me from this company are,[Names removed]
