Why the delay?

I ordered some winter wheels online for my partner's golf trolley on 9th December and delivery was quoted as 7 to 9 working days. I then got an email saying that they wouldn't be available intil 2nd January, then another quoting 11th January. If I had known it would take so long I would have ordered them elsewhere.

Many thanks for your review. I cant help but be dissapointed with your rating for the following reasons.
1- At point of order our site informed the 68 customers of such delays due to Powakaddy been taken over by a new buyer, hence delays in stock to all accounts.
2 - You were made aware of such delays and kept updated from point of order and so had the opportunity to cancel at any point.
3 - We were in the same situation as all UK accounts and took the decision to accept "pre orders" on this item in order to secure stock on your behalf and so not cause further delays.
4 -As one of Powakaddys largest UK retailers we were able to secure this stock for you and so delivered quicker than any other UK retailer could have done.
