Unable to exchange for a better size

I ordered a jacket, the Lenexa, and when it arrived it was too small( it arrived very fast which was great).
Using my measurements I ordered a UK12 ( US 8). Jacket was just too snug in my shoulders-which are broad, so I opted to exchange it for a UK14.
I sent my package back and by the time it was received (also very fast so good job there) apparently the UK14 I needed was already out of stock.
For the amount of money I paid to order this jacket-and I am aware of the gamble of buying clothes online without the benefit of fitting it first- once my money goes through to Muubaa I would have liked to have been given the option to be able to exchange the jacket to another style that came in my size, if the one I originally wanted was gone.
I would have paid the difference, as I already committed to spend a great deal to begin with.
I absolutely love the jackets, and on my budget the Lenexa -on sale- was perfect. I am disappointed that I was simply refunded (though, again, pleased things were processed most efficiently).
Perhaps I was not meant to spend that much on a jacket just yet.
I hope I will be able to get one in the future as I am now aware of how small they do run as I debated over sending it back, but for the money it should be just about a perfect fit, yes?
I am hoping for spring or summer sales.
So, I highly recommend them but beware the sizing, and the limit of stock.
