I found a calling card on my doormat on 11th Dec 2012 and so went online and arranged for re delivery for the following week.
I waited in all day for my delivery to arrive and it did not show up.
I emailed DPD to find out why and was informed that on 11th Dec 2012 my parcel was left with a neighbour (not what it said on the calling card)
I was told to go to the neighbour and retrieve my parcel myself. I told them that the person who they left my parcel with did not exist as I had no neighbour by that name.
I was then told to contact the company who I had ordered the parcel from.
I informed them I was unable to do this as I hadn't personally ordered anything.
I emailed DPD 6 times to explain and try to resolve this matter and every time I received an email from a different agent saying "go to you neighbour" or "contact the sender"
After a very curt email from myself 6 weeks later they finally informed my who the sender was.
I contacted the sender only to find out that they had sent me "free trial offer" that I hadn't returned to them with 14 days they had debited my bank account for £90
I explained the whole DPD fiasco to them and they said that I should contact DPD !
In summery because of DPD's negligence and poor customer service I now have to go through a fraud case with my bank to try and retrieve my money from the sender of a parcel that I never received !
ANY REPUTABLE COMPANY SHOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY !!!!
