I have been a good Three customer, having both phone and broadband with them. But when I called to cancel my mobile broadband contract, because it's slow and the connection unstable, they were rude and extremely pushy telling me to stay (and suddenly they were able to give me three times the speed for the same money) promising me that the connection would be much better the following month. Yeah right!?! I still wanted to quit, I told them. But the guy kept on pushing me. Then he suddenly needed varification for my identity. I had already given him my contract number, name and address details. It's fine they have that kind of security if they use it for security. But it seemed more like he just wanted to prolong our conversation, so that he could try to pursuade me to stay.
