Have purchased from GAK a few times now and always competitive pricing, good choice of delivery dates and a few free gifts thrown into the mix. If I'm looking to buy something, their website is the first I look at. Not purchased a guitar from them, usually effects and accessories, but good choice available.
Ordered a guitar at 5pm on the Thursday, realised it wasn't the exact one I wanted (my mistake, the details on the website were fine but I was doing it quickly before I rushed out the door) and sent an email almost immediately to cancel the order. Received an email from Dawsons later on the following Friday to say "apologies, we shipped it before we read your email". So, in one way good (speed) and the other way bad (speed!). Don't really see much point having a Customer Service email address if they're not reviewing it regularly.
But the really most frustrating thing was the guitar being reduced by £100 the very next day - grrrrrrrrrr! Did consider returning the guitar at cost and then reordering but couldn't be bothered with the hassle to be honest.
