Just Eat

Ok when it wants to work...

First off the website just doesn't work on mobiles with android and the app only works with iPhones. Helpful.

Second, I have had a number of occasions where the payment screen has frozen in the past, leaving me unsure if my order was placed.

I've had problems with delivery and Just Eat seem to be able to do very little in terms or reprimanding the restaurants they represent. They are definitely middle men only...don't expect any real help and their phone service team can be a bit rude.

Lastly, charging 50p for a card payment seems a bit cheeky. Anyway, in short...good if your desperate but all of my good local places aren't on there, and I often wonder why that might be....

Hello Ruth,

We are currently working on improving the mobile app we have. If you experience any issues with card payments our customer care team are always available to investigate for you. We also have a free live chat service where queries can be dealt with on the spot. JUST EAT does not profit from the 50p charge. The 50p charge is the admin fee which goes straight to the bank, therefore we are unable to make any changes to this unfortunately.
