Appaulling ---- Terrible

Website states 'less than 10 in stock'; I've been speaking English all my life and this means IN STOCK not OUT OF STOCK. I realize that zero is less than 10 but don't accept that this meets any form of trade description. Dabs used to be a good & reliable retailer but I won't be shopping there again and would not recommend that you do either.

My Experience: Place order mid afternoon on Friday for in stock item (less than 10). Get immediate confirmation of order but then hear nothing. Tuesday check state of order and discover that it's out of stock. Check item on site (still less than 10 in stock). Cancel order and buy from Amazon - cost £5 more; item delivered Friday. Result (my wife buys a pile of stuff on eBay on the Saturday and it all arrives well before my item does). Really unhappy.

The only good thing. No monies were taken so I didn't have to chase for a refund.


Very pleased with service

Product arrived promptly (at xmas time) and was as ordered. Purchasing experience was smooth. Highly recommend.


Delivered quickly - well packaged; affordable pricing

Purchased some linctus which comes in a bottle - could easily be broken if not packaged properly. Please to say that packaging was what one would expect - almost no chance of damage. Highly recommend.

Misleading Advertising & Website / Poor Returns Service

After having received emails advertising free postage on everything and then visiting the site to buy; Free postage on everything was high profile. Unfortunately default settings when you buy is for premium postage service - I didn't notice - silly me!!

Cost - over £5 more; with no chance to stop it. Had to delay the delivery by three days - I didn't need this service. When I complained, I was politely told that this is the default setting for the site. Unlucky.

The Item was faulty; OK these things happen - no worries. DPD came to pick up the item and then nothing happened. I had to ring up to prompt these guys to send me a replacement. Very bad!!

Will never use Lookfantastic again. I feel ripped off and let down.
