We placed an order in plenty of time for our son's birthday but the order still arrived late and was partly incorrect. We were supposed to have a returns label sent to us which never arrived so we paid the postage ourselves to return the incorrect items. We received an email 10 weeks after the original order date stating that a refund would be issued. 5 weeks later again, still no sign of the refund. After numerous emails (all ignored) and innumerable phone calls (engaged, manager not available, etc) we got speaking to someone who informed us that they didn’t have our card details in order to process the refund and they’d known that for 5 weeks! They had contact details for us from the original order so why, 4 months later, am I still trying to get the refund we are entitled to and the postage that we had to pay ourselves? No offer of compensation. Worst company and customer services I have ever had the displeasure to deal with!
Like many parents of a child who loves computer gaming, I had no idea what would be required when my son asked for a new computer for Christmas. He wasn’t much help as he’s more interested in playing the games than knowing how the computer itself works. All he knew was that it had to be faster than his current one so it wouldn’t be so ‘laggy’. One of his friends from school had bought a PC through Computer Planet and recommended them so I gave them a ring. After a very informative conversation during which they asked exactly what games he played so they could tailor it to his needs, we had a set-up in mind and a price. I did some further research online to compare prices before ringing them back but no other sites were able to match Computer Planet’s value for money. The PC arrived in plenty of time for Christmas and was well-packaged. My son is over the moon with his new computer and I’m delighted with the overall customer service and price. I would definitely use them again!
