Not worth the stress...

Went through several bank fraud departments because they wouldn't accept my card because I wanted my order delivered to an address that was different from my home address. Tried to pay through online banking like they suggested, that didn't work so now I'm having to go pick it up from the warehouse and pay for it there. I also ordered some monitors before xmas, paid extra for next Saturday delivery; didn't receive my items for over a month.
If you want music equipment go with [Link]- much better service, much less hassle.

I am very sorry that you have not had a good experience with Gear4music.

Here at Gear4music we take card security very seriously. We have to take great caution to ensure that the person ordering is the actual card holder. This protects not only Gear4music but also the card holder. On this occasion your card transaction did not pass our security checks as the billing address that you entered was not the registered billing address for your card. We usually clear this up very quickly with a short telephone call. I am sorry that you found this to be a hassle and do hope that you are not put off ordering from Gear4music in the future. If you intend on doing this again in the future then I would recommend that you contact us prior to placing your order.

With regards to your previous order with us for the Tannoy monitors, our estimated delivery dates are normally reliable, and very occasionally when our website does not state that we have stock available (as was the case in this scenario), we rely on our suppliers to deliver within their normal time-scale. This has clearly not happened on this occasion, for which we are sorry.

Please accept my apologies again that we have disappointed you with this order.
