I have used other airport meet and greet parking services and the online booking service for this one was no different. On the way to the airport I phoned ahead as per instructions, approximately 20 mins away. It took a short while before I was connected and I was told to phone back when we were on the M23. This seemed a strange request as we were only minutes from the M23. I phoned once we were on it and was given instructions as to where to park. We arrived at the time I had booked us in and waited. There was no sign of anyone so after 10 mins I phoned again. I was told abruptly that a driver was on his way and to wait. After a further 10 mins and still no sign, I phoned again. The driver eventually turned up and without any apology for keeping us waiting, didn't carry out any bodywork checks, and was actually quite rude. He was surly and said his reason for being late was because of water on the road! He looked at the car, said " obviously no damage is there?" Got straight into my car without any discussion and virtually ignored any questions we put to him, handed me a card as receipt and drove off.
The experience left me upset and quite concerned for the safe keeping of my car which I had booked in for one week. It was a worrying start to the holiday and certainly not a stress free start!
Other companies I have used have always been courteous and properly checked car, even taking a photo before taking charge of the car.
I will not be using stress free parking services again.
