Ordered goods for Christmas, database showed goods were in stock and I paid by PayPal. A message on my answer phone a couple of days later informed me that the database was incorrect and the goods were not in stock. After a further telephone conversation I agreed to wait until a further delivery arrived but this would not be until after Christmas. I have had to chase the goods but the staff have always been polite informative and helpful. The goods have now arrived 32days after placing the order. The lesson I have learned is be aware that if you make a payment by PayPal and goods are not in stock you can end up paying for goods way before you receive them.

I am very sorry that you have received a less than perfect experience whilst shopping with us. We do our upmost to ensure our website shows the correct stock data but, unfortunately, in this instance there was a stock error. This left us reliant upon supplier estimated delivery dates to give you an expected delivery date. This is never an ideal situation as unexpected delays can happen, such as the customs delays which your item was subjected to.
An unfortunate part of Paypal's terms and conditions are that they charge you straight away, unlike purchases made using credit/debit cards where we only charge you when we ship your goods.
