Having had many many many bad experiences with other companies I took to first check who'll deliver before I place orders. If it's DPD I know I won't have a headache. They send an email or text with a one hour delivery/collection slot and stick to it, even on a day like today when the snow naturally cause some disruption and my road is not gritted. The drivers are always very polite and have initiative, and actually read label instructions regarding neighbours and safe places!
This is THE single worst company ever, a dead homing pigeon would do a better job. They lie to customers saying a calling card was left and never turn up when you try to arrange redelivery so you have to do their work and collect parcels from the depot, customer service is very poor, avoid at any costs. I've been waiting for a parcel for over a week, arranged redelivery three times and in the end had to get the sender to recall the parcel and re-send via a decent courier.

I've been using VetUk for a few years now as my cat needs special prescription diet. Good range of products and their chosen courier (DAP) is absolutely perfect, possibly the only people which actually pay attention if you ask for something to be delivered in the morning or afternoon. NEVER had any problems with the order or delivery, very competitive prices and a loyalty scheme that allows me to get little treats for my pets now and then. I've tried some others tempted by discount vouchers and the headache with messed up orders and appalling customer service was completely not worth it.
I've had a small problem with the delivery, for some reason Viovet has sent my order in 3 different parcels and the courier company got a little confused so the delivery was delayed. It wasn't a major problem and Viovet customer service was quite efficient in dealing with this matter, but I can't help thinking it could have been avoided if the order was sent in just one parcel.
I've found that Pet Supermarket had the lowest priced product, but to wait 12 days for delivery, even though the "budget" option at £2.35 said 4-5 working days, was a bit much for me - also despite it clearly sating on the confirmation email that they'd let me know when the product was dispatched it never happened. I do A LOT of online shopping and for the same price I can get a 2-day delivery, specially considering it was a very small and light product. In short, if you don't mind to wait or pay a lot more for a quicker (maybe..) delivery, go for it.
