I ordered a subwoofer off AV Bristol's website on Jan 7. It was indicated as in stock, and my credit card was debited immediately. However, there was no confirmation of delivery (despite the advertised "order by 2pm for free next day delivery"). Only when I contacted AV Bristol was I informed that in fact the speakers were out of stock. Subwoofer eventually arrived on Jan 24.
(Update in response to Jake's feedback):
I think we need to conclude that communication could be improved as this is the first time I have been informed of a refund on my next order. Also I had to keep emailing for an update, there was no proactive communication until delivery arrangements were made, and even then it was not dispatched until a day later than anticipated. Sorry, but it could have been a much better experience.
