i came across beauty bay when i was searching online for a good deal on dr hauschka and they happened to have a 20% off promotion so i thought i'd give them a try. everything went smoothly, and i have ordered twice since and been happy each time. delivery is always free which is good, and the more you spend the faster and better delivery service you get which is also a good touch. one time they didnt have one of the things i ordered and they apologised and didnt take the money for that item so that was fine too.
*UPDATE*: all of the above is still true. but unfortunately when i returned an item for refund in january i didn't hear from beauty bay for weeks about it. I was patient for a couple of weeks but then decided to email to see what was going on and heard nothing. Six weeks later they replied and said my parcel hadn't arrived but they would give me a refund on the strength of my proof of postage receipt which i scanned in and emailed over. it took a few days to get the refund which wasn't processed as a refund but as a payment, which meant i have had to pay a paypal fee to receive it.
So overall they have been a good service for ordering and delivery etc and very poor for returns/refunding. And it's the second part that has put me off ordering from them again in the future.
