Terrible customer service

Appalling service.

I ordered a treadmill online on Friday 11 January and my money was taken.
There was no mention during the ordering process of any time delay on delivery.

On 15th January I rang to check when it was being delivered as I had heard nothing, was now told it would take 10 days from the time of the order. (22nd Jan)

On 22nd January I rang and spoke to [Name removed] as 10 days had passed since order - the story now changed to 10 working days (25th Jan) - I asked to speak to [Name removed] the delivery manager and [Name removed] promised she would ring me back - no call received (phone logs are available).

On 24th January received an email promising a further email with a delivery date on the 25th January.

It is now the 25th (that is 10 working days after placing the order and my money being taken) - no email has arrived and still no sign of the treadmill.

I guess it's a phone call to my solicitor next.......

I see my review has been removed from the review site - I hope someone challenges my version of events because I have all the phone calls and emails logged and documented.

Since I posted this review this morning I have now had an email this afternoon telling me that delivery will be another 2 to 3 days - but still no definite date given - I'm guessing that is another 2 or 3 working days (effectively making it 4 or 5 days as the weekend starts tomorrow).

I really don't see why it is so hard to give someone a delivery date, especially when the money for the goods has been taken at the point of ordering. It's so easy to give good customer service - these people go out of their way to make it a bad experience.
