Arranged with retail company for a returned parcel to be picked up in the afternoon, but courier came in the morning, calling card with a reference number was left saying sorry we missed you. Tried to contact act courier to arrange another pick up date but all I got was an automated message to say that another pick up date had been arranged. This would be great if there was someone in at the time that they had arranged but they don't realise that people do work for a living. Tried their web site but this proved just as useful as their automated phone service.
This company needs a better way of arranging pick up service. What's the point of having a pick up time when no one is in, only to arrange another pick up when no one is in. All this running around trying to pick up parcels is a waste of mine and the company's resources and must be costing a fortune in fuel and wages. Haven't they heard global warming.
