ordered and apparently courier lost package, but refunded quickly

Ordered a Christmas present, in plenty of time For delivery, left it a couple of weeks, rang acicha to enquire were/when it was being delivered, was told that they would look into it, got a call back saying apparently its been lost in transit, and they had none left, and they would refund the money (thank you for nothing). Bit peeved, but have ordered from acicha since (still waiting for delivery, is 3 weeks to long too wait?)
