Extortionate postage to pay for unwanted catalogue

I bought a special door catch and was not that chuffed when I found out the price displayed initially was a cheaper 10+ price, then VAT got added and then I had to pay £6 postage and when I got the parcel I found the high charge was to cover for the massive catalogue that was included in the parcel that I didn't want. What I initially thought would be a door catch costing about £12 ended up as £23 which is annoying. Ok, I didn't have to buy it, but I have ended up with a nasty taste in my mouth and I won't be buying from them again.

Thank you for your feedback with regards to postage prices and VAT charges, I have tried to call you today with regards to your review but was unable to reach you.

I apologise that our delivery charges and ex VAT prices were not obvious at the time of placing your order. I would however like to advise that we do offer free delivery on all orders over £45 and that we do guarantee next day delivery for all orders.

I do hope that our delivery promise and service will ensure you return to order with us again.
