Only just decided to finally post a review of this company after having had various problems with them for over a year. They are difficult to contact, difficult to deal with, do not deliver or attempt to deliver when they say they will and worst of all the are rude when you finally have to drive all the way down to their depot to collect the item yourself.
I now do not deal with companies like Argos who use Yodel for deliveries and I hope shipping manager for large firms read this to see how consumers feel Yodel are a re branded version of Home Delivery Network who went under after not being nearly as pitiful as Yodel are.
Laughable point here- when you ask for info to be passed to the driver you are told in no uncertain terms that drivers do not carry mobile phones, we do not allow it. This is both wrong and stupid. When drivers have eventually turned up in the past they have invariably been on their phones and why would a delivery company NOT want to be able to contact its drivers during their day?!?! I bet they have all their vans lo-jacked so they know where they are so why not use other 20th century tech like a mobile phone!
