Ordered cat food on the 29th December and received a confirmation. On the 31st was sent a tracking code.
When the order had not arrived by the 10th Jan I emailed Medicanimal and was told that the tracking order was 'prematurely generated due to a technical fault' and the order would be sent within 48 hours.
On the 20th, after another question about delivery I was told that there had been 'a surge of orders'. The order eventually arrived on the 24th, nearly 4 weeks after ordering.
Looking at other feedback it seems that my experience is not unique. If the order goes through without problems everything is OK. Any problems and the system is hopeless. An email apologising for the delay would have been enough, but no information was forthcoming unless I asked. I'm not sure I believe the excuses but there is a small chance that they could be correct.
The score would have been 1 but the description for 1 star is Very bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct.
The given 2 stars is described as Bad – a bad experience but with no sign of malicious intent.
I will be buying food elsewhere in future.
