Used this company many times both as a client and as a supplier of overseas accommodation and holidays.
As an end supplier I would not use them as a client unless I found them professional.
So yes I can support them as a company from both sides of the fence.
I find them helpful and professional but more than anything from either side of the fence, I find their ability to resolve problems and sort out anything that might happen to their clients.
It is better to know that you are with a company who is on the ball and sorts out the problems when they happen rather than finding yourself with a company who don't care and leave it down to the client to sort it out.
Problems happen and there is nothing that will change that fact of life. Minor problems you resolve yourself larger ones you make a phone call to the office and they sort it for you.
Put in the wrong hotel in Egypt and the rep did not give a dam about it. One call to TR and it was resolved within the hour and not only were we moved but we were upgraded to 5* plus the top rating and given a suite.
That is the service you want when you go away.
It is the ability of a company to resolve problems when they arrive and not their ability to give you cheap bookings.
Travel Republic do both of these things and because of this I rate them as 10/10 across the board and advise anyone to use a company you can trust.
