Check in, boarding and facilities on aboard are good. Staff in 1st Lounge particularly helpful. Siting of and functionality of car park payment machine at Heysham is appalling. The area is badly signed, poorly lit, card device is missing numbers from keypad, and its inability to get a payment authorised on two separate [known to be OK] cards isn't good enough.
Machine Mart is a very useful and reliable resource. For any of my tool and workshop equipment needs they are first on my list; with stores everywhere they are close enough that I can usually go get it without calling first. Rarely are they out stock, but they can always get it for me if they are. I always find something else I didn’t know I needed on almost every visit. Their returns policy is excellent too.
