The Kettler Garden Table was delivered to the wrong address which was caused by misinformation from a person on the street as to where my house is. The driver went on to deliver further down the road and realised his mistake when looking at house numbers. He knocked on my door to confirm but unfortunately hadn't realised that underneath the snow was a wide lawn belonging to me. He was well and truly stuck, wheels getting deeper and deeper, van sliding towards stone wall. He walked back to where he had left the parcel and bought it to me, A neighbour helped with wood, spades and cardboard to attempt to get a purchase. Problem got worse and worse. So the very pleasant and apologetic driver phoned his mate who was delivering locally and was towed away. The damage was considerable but not beyond repair, being an OAP I have had to ask a local tradesman to do the job for me which will cost me a further £20. The 2 areas will have to be re-seeded. At least we are not in a flood zone and the lawn will recover. I suppose the motto should be NEVER park on the grass verge especially with a 7 1/2 ton van. I have still given 5 stars because it was a genuine mistake on the part of the driver. A refund of the £20 would be appreciated !!!!
