I am in the process of trying to get a refund for one faulty item and one incorrect item amounting to £80. They emailed today advising that at the 'discretion' of the returns department they would not be processing a refund but would contact me in due course. No explanation as to how they arrived at this decision. I immediately called Trading Standards and they said that the Sale Of Goods Act 1979 states that in the case of defective or faulty goods you are ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND OR REPLACEMENT. Also goods sent must be as described -if you are sent wrong item then you are ENTITLED TO A FULL REFUND OR REPLACEMENT - the 14 day moneyback restriction is irrelevant in these circumstances. Trading Standards have advised me to send a recorded delivery letter of complaint to the address in Salford and demand a reply within14 days. If not satisfied I am to get back to them. I will be pursuing Missguided relentlessly until I get my money back . I urge everyone to log a complaint with Trading Standards on [Link] . They said today that they need to have the customers complaints logged with them before they can start investigating. This appalling company need to be shut down.
