Why don't they know?

I ordered two items, a shower body and a 'telephone' shower head. Somehow, the order showed up without a way to connect the mixed water from the valve to the showerhead! The fitting for US 1/2 inch copper tube was not included. They included two sets of fitting for the incoming water...US and Brit...which I don't understand...but nothing for the output. So I wrote them and they wrote back saying they didn't understand. I wrote Rachel back and sent a picture. THAT was understood. Incredibly, they're sending the part from England! They don't seem to have it here and there is no place to just buy one. Also, I thought that the price of the shower head was high considering that it is plastic. Finally, they recommend water stops. The spacing of the output piping was such that you can't install them under the trim if you want them to both be in the same area. The spacing is about a quarter inch too small...fine for Brit, not for US. I made it work but I wonder what they were thinking.
