Ive generally had a good relationship with Zavvi, but it has some serious customer service problems.
When ordering items, delivery seems hit and miss. When pre-ordering an item, I is usually with me on the day/weekend of release. Other orders for items currently 'in stock' tend to take longer though, and it can be upto a week before they are dispatched.
The big issue with them comes when there is a problem with your order. There have been a few times when an pre-order has been left as 'processing', days after its release, and even as far as a week in some cases.
When contacting Zavvi, after going through their choices of problems, they give themselves 24 hours to get back in touch with you, but often end up taking longer to reply.
Any number they give you to contact them on is of no use either. I was prompted to contact Zavvi in regards to a payment problem. After checking the details, and reconfirming them, the order in question has been left as 'processing' despite the message I recieved stating that my order was ready to dispatch as soon as payment was confirmed.
I tried calling the number given to me in the e-mail, but all the number does is tell you to go to their website and send a message to them there, before cutting out without giving you any other options.
If they could get their customer service in better order to help pople in a more reasonable time, or at least give us a working number to call them on, I'd feel better about having to wait. But with the way they are currently set up, you feel like your being left in the dark waiting for them to eventually reply to you.
