So I showed them the icegrippers. My previous Yax Trax were okay but these appear more durable and the rubber does not make contact with the ground so they can be used on for running on rocky trails or bare sections of road where the snow has melted... I felt totally safe, even running downhill, on ice... Correct to size for ordinary shoes but remember that to fit over trainers or walking shoes you will definately need to go up a size as the rubber is thick and hard to stretch over the thicker soles...
