Kwik Fit
Incorrect and inferior tyres arrived, no response to my complaint
I ordered some tyres to be fitted by the mobile fitting service as my tires had exceeded the safe limit. I had to make a last-minute change to my order, which was accepted, but when the tyres arrived they were not the ones I ordered and were significantly inferior. I had a long journey to make the next day and I had little choice but to accept them.
I emailed Kwik Fit a week ago but have not had any response. Needless to say I am entirely dissatisfied and cannot recommend this service. I had hoped that they would have addressed the issue promptly and that we could have resolve this matter amicably.
I must say, however, that the gentleman who arrived to fit the tyres was exceptionally polite, understanding and helpful. It's a shame that he too was let down by the company for which he works.

All about the details - a mixed bag
I purchased a refurbished TVonics DTR-500HD Freeview Recorder from gogodigital. I placed the order late on a Friday and they had the good courtesy to call me to inform me that the shipping date that the website had quoted was incorrect. No problem there.
The unit arrived but with the wrong instruction manual, the previous owner's recording schedule still on it and flat batteries. Whilst none of these issues are major it just showed a lack of attention to detail and makes me wonder what they mean by 'refurbished'.

The recordings would have been part of our testing process and should have been removed before shipment along with the batteries. My apologies again; we will obviously offer a discount on any future purchase.
