My much loved 1999 Civic failed its MOT test due to a faulty driver's seat belt. Honda could not supply a spare so I went on to the Internet. 'Parts Gateway' responded asking for exact details of my car and my personal details which I supplied. 10 minutes later the phone rang. The caller was 'Hygrade Motor Spares' from Newton Heath offering a second hand seat belt for £25 plus VAT and £10 express delivery. This offer I accepted. The belt arrived less than 20 hours later. I immediately took it round to my garage to get it fitted, and then drove my car home after the MOT re-test. Full marks to both 'Parts Gateway' and 'Hygrade Motor Spares' . I don't remember better service in all my 80 years of life! (I should add that I also got two more expensive offers by email)
